My Clean Shower Ritual
Showers. We all take them, so why not turn them into something beautiful?
Taking a few extra minutes to turn a basic task into a soothing ritual can make all the difference in your day. We get so caught up in life that sometimes we forget to just breathe. Create a peaceful, therapeutic routine by adding these simple steps.

Set the mood
Warm, dim lighting in the evening has a calming effect on your mind and gently reminds the body that it’s almost time to sleep. Try a mini Himalayan salt wall lamp to release your stress and create a peaceful atmosphere. I also light my favorite candle (major fire hazard but worth it) and spray some essential oil mist into the hot steam to get the full experience.
In the shower
Show your body kindness, and it will pay you back. Choosing clean products is one way to thank your body, and to allow you to indulge guilt-free. Here are my favorite products:
Shampoo & Conditioner: This Playa Beauty duo enhances your hair's natural texture, boosts shine and moisture, and helps repair damaged hair, and it smells incredible.
Body Wash: Le Labo Shower Gel is a super-rich, thickly lathering shower gel that offers you a few moments of serenity while cleansing your body.
Hair mask: The Gisou Hair Mask is an intensive nourishing mask enriched with honey which acts as a natural humectant, maintaining the hair's natural moisture balance, resulting in healthy, soft and stronger locks with a silky shine.
Exfoliate: The Fur Silk Scrub smoothes and polishes skin and can be used for a quick shower buffer or left on as an exfoliating mask.
Hydrate
After showering, apply your favorite body oil to your wet skin. This allows the oil to absorb into your skin, leaving your body feeling refreshed and hydrated.
Showers have become my favorite part of my routine, and are always the perfect way to end my day. Sometimes, enjoying the little things in life go a long way. Creating a serene environment for those extra moments of self-care can serve as such a grounding ritual, and I promise your body will thank you for it.
Love always,
