Mad Benefits: Kiwi Fruit
Not only is kiwi a universal fan favorite, but the fruit is loaded with vitamins and minerals that have mad benefits on your health. Kiwi contains a variety of nutrients like fiber, vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin K and antioxidants (why is it not considered a superfood? I have no idea). Fun fact I learned today: the skin is edible :). Keep scrolling to read more about the mad benefits.

Improves digestion
Kiwi is loaded with lots of fiber, which is useful for digestion. The lush fruit also has a good amount of actinidin, an enzyme known to break down proteins in the gut. Have a kiwi after a big meal to help you digest and lessen bloating.
Immune function
The vitamins found in kiwi fruit are madly beneficial for cell function and protection from free radical damage in the body. Vitamin C is responsible for the growth and repair of tissues in the body and aids in supporting the immune system.
Boosts skin health
The vitamin C in kiwi is major when it comes to collagen production, which is a nutrient that supports the structure of skin and bones. Kiwi can help keep your skin hydrated and healthy, and its anti-inflammatory properties can even be beneficial when it comes to dealing with acne. Apply kiwi extract and aloe vera to your skin and leave overnight for optimal results.
