A Q&A with the founder...

Yesterday I finally launched my first collection, "Out of Office", and I'm so excited to share with you all! Since then, I have felt and overwhelming amount of love and support from family, friends, and even strangers :')

In honor of that, I thought I would answer some questions that you beautiful people submitted on our Insta stories last night. Thank you all for reaching out, and I hope you enjoy my little words <3

What was your motivation behind The Mad Love Club?

This is a platform for everybody and everything. I wanted to create a space where that allows me to do whatever my heart desires. I think mainly, I want to create stuff that people love. I want The Mad Love Club to be your best friend, your homie, and your go-to.

Between your website, your podcast, and your new shop, what do you most enjoy and what do you hate the most?

I just love creating I don't really care what I'm doing or where I'm doing it. I certainly would never do anything I hate, that's for sure. There are definitely tedious tasks that I don't particularly enjoy, and I'm not very good at math either, so that's never fun.

How would you describe your personal style?

For most of my life, I felt the most secure hiding behind oversized clothing. This later translated into my style and my love for combining masculine pieces with very delicate ones. My style changes on a day to day basis, but whatever I am wearing, you better believe it's comfortable.

What was the last thing you purchased?

A surprise set from @thriftsmadewithlove :')

Favorite thing you own in your closet?

A cropped white tank top that I've owned for a million years. I wear it so much that I bought 2 more just in case.

High fashion or street style?

HF forever and ever<3

What's your creative process?

It's a lot of shower monologues and conversations with my mom.

Style icons?

Zoe Kravitz and David Bowie (for obvious reasons).

Favorite looks for this coming fall?

Cropped blazers, voluminous sleeves, and sheer silhouettes. I'm really just trying to be as naked as possible until the winter season arrives.

Why create a jewelry collection?

I just love cute little funky things, and jewelry is one of them. I originally created the pieces for myself, but my friends loved them, so I said, why not. The pieces are inspired by my mother's summers in Aley, Lebanon. During the war, she and her cousins would make jewelry and sell them to friends and family for fun. I wanted to start with something silly and wholesome like that. I'm trying not to take anything too seriously...

What are you dropping next?

Honestly who even knows... I don't. But I'm excited to see? I'm taking it one day at a time :')
